eScrip 2009 Holiday Gift Card Program

Major Retailers Want To Give Our School Money!

Dear Fremont Parents:

We’re pleased to share some exciting news about a new fundraising program for Fremont.  It’s called “scrip”, and it’s the fundraising program that works while you shop.

Scrip is simply a word that means “substitute money” – in other words, scrip is gift certificates from national and local retailers.  They’re the same gift certificates that you buy at the store.

Many popular retailers participate in our scrip program including JCPenney, Macys, The Gap, Shell, Pizza Hut, Coffee Bean, Starbucks, Home Depot, and many, many others.  Look at the order form to see the HUGE number of participating retailers.

You’re probably asking yourself how these stores help us raise money.  It’s simple -- scrip participating retailers agree to sell gift certificates to PAC at a discount.  Families like yours buy the certificates for full face value, they redeem them for full face value, and our school keeps the difference as revenue.  And scrip is exciting, because everybody wins:

EXAMPLE:  Purchase a $25 Gift Card to Dave & Busters.  Dave & Busters gives Fremont 15% of the $25.  Fremont gets $3.75 for that purchase.  It’s that simple!

PAC will be offering this program to our Fremont families just in time to shop for the holidays.  Rather than running around town to purchase your gift cards, place an order today with our new Scrip program. 

Click here for the order form.  Payments must be turned in with the order forms no later than December 1st.  Make checks payable to PAC.  You can return the orders in your child’s Thursday folder or the PAC box in the teacher workroom.

Orders will be ready for pick-up on December 14 through 16 after school.  Sorry, orders will not go home in your child’s Thursday folder.  If you are unable to pick up your order, please contact me to make arrangements.
